We are "Out-Of-Network"
Lower Cash Price-Let's do the Math
While we would never recommend being uninsured against catastrophic medical problems, but for those without insurance having access to high quality healthcare is POSSIBLE. Let us work on keeping you healthy.
PPO Insurance ?
You can use your existing high-deductible PPO or medicare insurance to cover outside labs, X-ray, CT, and MRI imaging physical therapy, visiting nurses, specialists and hospitalizations. You may pay us and submit the paid invoice (superbill) for out-of-network reimbursement to your individual, employer or group plan. Patients report everything from zero to 80% reimbursement by their insurance company. In almost all cases we are less than your deductible and co-pays through an ER.
Medicare HMO Plans...
These Medicare HMO plans are all about saving money for the federal government and have very little to do with good medical care for bed bound or homebound patients. We are in the business of keeping you out of the hospital and getting better at home where you’ll feel your best with family.
Not Even Medicare? Well, kind of...
The Government Does Not Pay for the Provider’s time in your home. Although standard Medicare does cover many medications, therapies, durable medical equipment and referrals to specialists. Many folks figured out we are less than their deductibles, and much less than a non-admission ambulance ride to the ER. Technically, this method is saving Medicare millions in ER costs –BUT they still don’t pay enough for a doctor to travel to your home or telemedicine visits!
Here’s the good news: Medicare covers most of the expensive things we order for you (labs, visiting nurses, therapy, specialists) Plain Ol’ Medicare actually works reasonably well for home-bound patients.
If you have Medicare: You will be asked to sign a one time waiver declaring that neither you nor your doctor/provider will directly bill Medicare for our services. Medicare will still cover any laboratory testing, imaging, medications, or hospitalizations ordered by our office.
HSA OR FSA ?
Yes! A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) can be used on what your employer deems appropriate when setting this service up, so talk to your Human Resources or your employer about this. Both types of accounts can be used for labs, imaging and medications. We can also provide Superbills upon request. Members! Ask us about Reimbursify!
